At the local meeting last night there was a motion put on the floor that passed. The motion was to send the locked-out brothers and sisters at Local 175, Montreal, $ 5,000.00. This money will be sent next week. There was also a motion put on the floor at the Mississauga Petro-Canada unit meeting on November 27th. The motion was to have a monthly deduction from the Mississauga Unit to support the Montreal locked-out workers. The executive has called for a meeting Dec. 4th in order to deal with this issue. Because of possible amendments to the motion, the exact amount is not yet known.
